Plastic Pet Tanks Is Heating A Plastic Pet Tank Harmful?

Is heating a plastic pet tank harmful? - plastic pet tanks

But I have 2 hermit crabs, and distinguishes them in a plastic terrarium. Now it is winter, I warm the tank to keep my Crabbie hot, but it brings a little heat lamp / heat up / harmful in the tank - - will melt the plastic? although I maintain a proper temperature?

If yes, where I can have a little glass terrarium ... It seems that only important dimensions.

You should have a small heater in the tank for reptiles and put in about 1 / 3 of your tank, so that they can choose where they want to be. I do not say a lamp, because they are difficult to control and dry the cage went wrong. A light would be more likely to melt on a towel. Under tank heater does not melt tank, I promise. Most breeders of reptiles such as the use of plastic containers and Rubbermaid stérilité for use in reptiles and heating system or heat tape with Flexwatt heat. I suggest getting a cheap thermostat or setting up its own regulatory authority to control the heat, but a work units built in already. Good luck.

PS If you need help in a buffer that message to build me, and I will send you detailed instructions with pictures:)

It wount Fusion Sudgen but I wouldnt be it under a plastic tank. Go to PetSmart or your local Petstore. Yesterday I went and saw a 10 gallons ttank for only $ 13 (California). She looked very good.
There werent so great.
They really dont need a stamp. You only buy a heat lamp. They are not much better.

I had hermit crabs for 5 years, they have no need for heating, it puts them in near a window, yes, but not necessary heat to melt plastic lol! They are cool, heat can kill
